The Good Food and Wine Show in Australia spanning across 4 major cities is an annual gastronomy extravaganza that involves the best growers, chefs, restaurants, vineyards, and hotels, with food enthusiasts from all around the world flying Down Under just to get close to celebrity chefs, taste the best cuisines and learn more about food and wine.

The Ireland-born, European-trained and Brisbane-based Chef Alastair McLeod (as seen on Channel Seven’s Queensland Weekender and Network TEN’s Ready Steady Cook) believes in all things local and reducing carbon footprint by being close to your food source. He also founded his catering company, Al’Freshco, to bring his food philosophy all around Australia.
World-travelling Chef Miguel Maestre made Sydney his home to set up Australia’s biggest Spanish restaurant, El Toro Loco, after meeting world-renowned kitchen maestro Ferran Adria of El Bulli. He is also no stranger to the camera, and has made TV appearances on TEN’s The Living Room, Boys Weekend, and Miguel’s feasts. He is also the author of two best-selling Spanish cookbooks.
Rub shoulders with both chefs as they will be hosting the dinner while you dine and wine on a selection of pairing wines from Australian vineyard Angove. Expect to also enjoy impeccable service by the staff at Table:30. Here’s what you can look forward to on Thursday, 4 August:
